THE GROUND had shaken the way it had never shaken before. As the moons glowed bright, icebergs cracked loudly and volcanoes erupted, an unknown tower penetrated itself through lava. A thick fog emerged upon the world.
An ominous, ancient entity had been summoned by a wizard. The entity’s influence exploded from a singular point and corrupted the balance of the world. All simple creatures were affected by it. They noticed new powers within themselves and felt chaotic. Because they had no control for their mind, they simply became aggressive.
Yet, intelligent inhabitants weren’t affected. This made them weak against anything else than what the unseen energy had touched.
The weakest ones died under the attacks of creatures and the strongest survived to tell the story.
It takes a special kind of person to fight back. Luckily, there were some who were special enough for this task: those who had already been in touch with energies of Chaos before, themselves or through their ancestors.
