Please note that there might be differences on how to make a screenshot on some devices which use different operating systems. The instructions provided below are the most common ways to make a screenshot.

On Android Devices:

  • You can take a screenshot of your device’s screen by pressing the Volume Down button and Power button simultaneously for 1-2 seconds.
  • If the screen flashes, then you will know that a particular screenshot was taken. You will also hear a sound when the image is captured, if the phone is not set to `Silence` mode.
  • If you didn't see any flash or hear any sound, you can try another method of taking the screenshot. This time, press the Home button and the Power button simultaneously.
  • You can swipe down from the top of your phone screen and click the screenshot you’ve just created to open it.
  • The screenshots can also be found in `Gallery` > `Albums` > `Screenshots`

If neither of these work, please visit your phone manufacturer’s support site for help.

On Apple Devices:

  • If the screen flashes, then you will know that particular screenshot was taken. You will also hear a sound when the image is captured, if the phone is not set to `Silence` mode.
  • You can open the screenshot directly by tapping the small image which appears after the flash.
  • The screenshot can also be found in `Photos` > `Albums` > `Camera Roll`

On a PC

  • To capture your desired screenshot, just press the `Print Screen` button from your keyboard. This button is usually placed on the top right side of it.
  • Then, open the app named `Paint` from your PC.
  • Once opened, you can paste your captured screenshot by pressing the CTRL key and V button one after the other.
  • To save your screenshot to your PC, click `File` and then `Save as`
  • You can choose where you want the image to be saved by navigating through your Windows folders. It's recommended to change the file type to .JPEG; This way the file size will be smaller and easier to upload.
