Such situations might occur when your Internet connection is a bit slower for a second or simply drops a few data packages instead dropping you from the table the slots are spinning longer until the connection gets back to normal. There is no technical possibility to keep spinning or option for the game to keep spinning while you are offline or there is a connection issue.
If you are not connected to the server, nothing changes in your balance.
