Scatter
Scatter Symbols are basically our way of giving you Bonus goodies in games. So, for example in slots with bonus games, Scatter Symbols are what’s going to enable them. Unlike symbols, which have to appear on a single spin, the scatter just has to appear on the reels to open up certain bonuses.
This is a set of bonuses, that scatters give:
- Coins - Scatters give you a set bonus chip prize.
- Bonus Games - Scatters trigger your choice
- Free Spins - Scatters trigger your Free Spins
- Social Scatters - Scatters go toward the Social Goal that gives chips to everyone at the table
- Social Free Spins - Scatters go towards the Social Goal that gives Free Spins to everyone at the table
- Expanding Scatter - Special Scatters triggered during Free Spins in the Treasures of the Throne slot.
Click more on the features for a more detailed breakdown of how each of them works.
Free Spins
Triggered by Scatter symbols, it’s as simple as it sounds! When triggered, you get a given amount of Free Spins (some slots have up to 120!) as well as features to go along with them in Bonus Games!
Expanding Scatter
A feature exclusive to the Treasures of the Throne slot, Expanding Scatters occur when you hit the Scatters require to get Free Spins in the game. The game draws a random symbol and makes it an Expanding Scatter symbol. Expanding Scatter symbols will expand vertically on their reels, making your payouts bigger!
For the Expanding Scatter to activate, the symbols drawn as an Expanding Scatter must have a payout in accordance to the Paytable, so if you hit a Scarab symbol, you only need to hit 2 or more scarabs (they don’t need to be on the same pay line!) to trigger the Expanding Scatter. Similarly, if an A symbol is drawn, you will need to hit 3 or more for the Scatter to trigger.
Bonus Games
Triggered by Scatters Bonus Games give you a choice of three different feature-sets along with a set number of Free Spins. Bonus games usually give you a choice between the number of Free Spins and Features that give you bigger payouts.
Mystery Symbols
Mystery Symbols hide other symbols beneath them, and reveal them only when hit! Wild or Scatter symbols don’t hide beneath Mystery symbols though, so don’t get your hopes up too high when you see one!
